The current focus for the Company is realising the full economic potential of the Mount Lindsay Magnetite-Tin Project in Tasmania. In addition, Venture will continue exploration on its South Australian and West Australian Copper, Gold and Uranium assets.

The Mount Lindsay Project (previously known as Renison West) is located 15 km northwest and along strike of the world class Renison Bell Tin deposit and immediately south of the Savage River magnetite mine. Venture is currently completing a 10,000m diamond core drill program with the aim to outline a maiden magnetite resource at Mount Lindsay.

The Company is also investigating the tin and tungsten potential at Mount Lindsay as historical data suggests their is significant potential for both metals within the skarn style mineralisation.

Venture considers the exploration potential at Mount Lindsay to be very significant as only 4 of the 22 kms of the identified skarns have ever been drill tested. The Company has adopted an aggressive exploration approach that will see the majority of these skarns drill  tested during 2008.

Mount Lindsay has not been explored with modern techniques for over 20 years and is considered highly prospective in terms of discovering further magnetite-tin resources. The project is also proximal to the ultramafic complex which hosts the Avebury Ni skarn deposit.

The Gawler Craton project includes three projects within the central and southeastern Gawler region. Churchill Dam sits within the Olympic Dam IOCGU Province of the Gawler Craton in South Australia. It is approximately 75 km southwest of the Olympic Dam-Wirrda Well-Acropolis IOCGU group which is dominated by the world class Olympic Dam deposit. Olympic Dam is currently the world’s 17th largest Cu and 3rd largest U producer. Churchill Dam is also 95 km west of the recently discovered Carrapateena IOCGU Prospect. The project has established an IOCGU target with strong geological similarities to the above occurrences. Kingoonya is located within the central Gawler gold province. It is 40 km northeast of the Glenloth goldfields, 80 km northeast of the Tunkillia deposits and 90 km southeast of the Tarcoola and Perseverance deposits. Gawler Range Volcanics basement is exposed immediately to the north and south of EL3529 which is largely covered with Cretaceous, Tertiary and Quaternary sediments. Calcrete sampling indicates broad zones of +5 ppb gold in calcrete anomalism. The project also includes several kilometers of the Kingoonya Palaeochannel, host to sedimentary uranium deposits, such as Warrior, to the west. Harris Bluff is situated within the southeastern part of the Gawler Craton. Gneisses and granitoids of the Lincoln Complex are overlain by upper Gawler Range Volcanics and associated Corunna Conglomerate, which are locally intruded by the important Hiltaba Suite granitoids. The area is prospective for epithermal Au-Ag and Menninnie Dam style base metal Pb-Zn mineralisation, and sparse drilling on adjacent ground returned up to 180 ppb Au and 6 ppm Ag.

The Maitland Channel project covers 140 km “strike” of a Tertiary palaeochannel system, that contains the calcrete-hosted Uranium deposits of Lake Maitland (Redport Limited), Lake Way (Nova Energy Limited), Centipede (Nova Energy Limited) and Yeelirrie (BHPBilliton). The project includes tenure adjacent to the Lake Maitland uranium deposit.

The Paulsens South project is 4km from the Paulsens Gold Mine, which has commenced production at a rate of 80,000 ozs Au per annum. The project area has only been sparsely explored and is interpreted to host a similar geological setting to the Paulsens deposit.
